In 2014, 28% of all mathematics theses were defended by women graduates, while only 20.9% of all research positions in the CNRS (Junior or Senior scientists) and in universities (as Lecturers or Professors) are held by women.

The call for nominations for the 4 ICIAM prizes along with the Olga Taussky-Todd Lecture of the 2019 ICIAM Congress are currently running.

  • The 4 ICIAM prizes are: the ICIAM Collatz Prize, the ICIAM Lagrange Prize, the ICIAM Maxwell Prize, the ICIAM Pioneer Prize and the ICIAM Su Buchin Prize.
